Michael (50) and Ana (46) are Licensed Real Estate Brokers at Esslinger-Wooten-Maxwell, Inc. in Miami, Florida. As a husband and wife team they focus on high-end residential properties and on commercial properties. They also are very much involved with the International 2nd home market, particularly in the Bahamas, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica and Panama.
Michael joined EWM Realtors in February 2006 after a distinguished 18 year career in International Private Banking ie. Wealth Management, were he provided investment advice and asset management services for some of the wealthiest families in Latin America, under some of the most renowned firms in the industry such as UBS International, Wachovia Securities, Merrill Lynch and Grupo Santander. Prior to his Wealth Management career, Michael worked 7 years for Citibank, N.A. as a Institutional Trader in Capital Markets. Thru-out his career Michael has traveled extensively throughout the Caribbean, Central and South America. Michael has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal during his career in Wealth Management and in the Miami Herald during his career in Real Estate.
Ana is a seasoned Real Estate agent with over 5 years of experience and is a Chairman’s Club member at EWM Realtors, having consistently ranked among the top 2% of agents nationwide in volume of sales. Her extensive experience covers residential and commercial properties in Miami-Dade County, with emphasis in the high-end luxury market. In addition, Ana along with her husband Michael have developed an expertise for international properties, particularly luxury second homes in exotic Caribbean destinations.
Michael holds a B.B.A. in Marketing with a minor in Finance from Inter-American University in San Juan, P.R. He is an active member of the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade, the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors. He is also a candidate for the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation. He is a Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) and is also a Graduate of the REALTOR Institute (GRI) and holds a Transnational Referral Certificate (TRC) as well. By virtue of his CIPS and TRC designations, Michael can make and receive compensated referrals using the transnational referral system developed by the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA) of which he is also a member.
Ana holds a Law Degree from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She is an active member of the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade, the Florida Association of Realtors and the National Association of Realtors.
